How You Can Volunteer to Help Tony Hwang’s Campaign Today

To find out what you can do, contact Hwang’s campaign manager, George Vatis, on his cell at 203-858-6818, email him at [email protected], or stop in at Tony’s Campaign HQ at 2060 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield.

Tony has represented the towns of Bethel, Easton, Fairfield, and Newtown in the State Legislature for many years. He was first elected to State Office in 2008 and is the second-highest-ranking Republican in the Senate.

This year, the Democratic Machine has moved a career Democratic political operative named Rob Blanchard down to Fairfield from Manchester to run against him. Blanchard is thirty-two years old and currently serves as the Chief of Staff in the State Controller’s Office. He previously worked for Governor Lamont and in various Democratic congressional campaigns. Blanchard has never represented anything but Hartford’s schemes to extend its power over the people of CT and diminish the power of CT’s 169 towns.

Tony Hwang has stood up for Easton against Hartford, he has fought to keep zoning local. He has repeatedly sponsored legislation to exempt water-producing towns like Easton from State high-density housing mandates that we cannot meet and threaten Southern CT’s water supply. The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters gave Hwang a “lifetime score” of 88% and called him “a thoughtful voice on the environment and conservation.”

The Democrats used to be the party of the environment. They have become the party of Development. This year more than ever, Tony needs your help.
